About the artwork

Deldar-e Ham Bashim is designed for viewers who want Persian art to feel both rooted and current. The use of Persian tile and mosaic-inspired details together with flowing Persian calligraphy creates a layered composition that can be appreciated from across the room and discovered again at close range.

Poetry and Meaning

Deldar-e Ham Bashim quotes the 17th-century poet Feyz Kashani (Ghazal 689): let us be each other's remedy and healing, live for each other and give ourselves for each other — let us be each other's heart, soul and beloved. It is one of the most loved Persian lines about partnership. Persian tilework patterns frame the words in a familiar architectural language.

دوای هم شفای هم برای هم فدای هم
دل هم جان هم جانان هم دلدار هم باشیم
فیض کاشانی

English translation:
Each other's remedy, each other's healing, living for each other, devoted to each other —
let us be each other's heart, each other's soul, each other's beloved.
— Feyz Kashani, Ghazal 689

Designed for Meaningful Spaces

Deldar-e Ham Bashim is well suited to a living area, studio, workspace, hallway, or quiet reflection space. Its turquoise palette works with contemporary rooms as well as spaces with traditional Persian accents, and its cultural focus makes it a thoughtful gift for a wedding, housewarming, Nowruz, birthday, or anyone connected to Persian art.
