Payment & Checkout Security
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Shopping with ORIAVI should feel clear and secure from browsing to checkout. This page explains how payment information is handled, which safeguards are provided through our Shopify-powered store, and what to do if something looks unusual.
A simple rule: ORIAVI will never ask you by email, WhatsApp or social media to send a photo of your payment card or disclose your full card number, CVV/CVC or online-banking password.
Encrypted connection (HTTPS)
oriavi.com uses HTTPS/SSL to encrypt information while it travels between your browser and the website. This is an important safeguard against interception in transit. No online service can truthfully promise zero risk, so we describe our safeguards precisely rather than making absolute “100% secure” claims.
How checkout and card payments are handled
Checkout is provided through Shopify, with payment processing handled by Shopify and/or the payment provider you select at checkout. ORIAVI receives the order and transaction information needed to manage your purchase. We do not ask you to send complete payment-card credentials directly to us, and we do not store your full card number or card security code in ORIAVI’s own systems. Depending on the payment method, we may see limited transaction information such as payment status, card brand or masked card details.
PCI DSS and Shopify
Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and states that this compliance extends by default to stores powered by Shopify. PCI DSS is the payment-card industry security standard designed to protect cardholder data. Shopify states that its certification covers the store, shopping cart and web hosting provided on its platform. You can read Shopify’s current PCI information for details.
Available payment methods
The payment methods currently available for your order are the ones displayed at checkout. Options can vary by country, currency, device and payment provider and may change over time. For that reason, checkout is the current source of truth rather than a fixed list of payment logos on this page.
Authentication and fraud prevention
Shopify and payment providers may use security checks, fraud-prevention tools or additional authentication where applicable. If ORIAVI needs to clarify an order, we may contact you using the contact details supplied with the order, but we will not ask you to disclose your full card number, CVV/CVC or online-banking password.
PayPal and other third-party payment services
If you choose PayPal or another third-party payment service when it is available, that provider’s own security, authentication, dispute and purchase-protection terms apply. Eligibility for any provider protection program depends on that provider’s rules and the individual transaction.
Currency conversion and bank fees
The amount and applicable currency are shown as part of checkout before you confirm payment. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or foreign/international transaction fee. Those third-party fees are not set or collected by ORIAVI. If a separate fee appears on your statement, your bank or payment provider can explain how it was calculated.
If a payment or charge looks unfamiliar
- Do not send anyone your full card number, security code or banking password.
- If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact your bank or payment provider promptly so they can protect the account and advise you on the transaction.
- Contact ORIAVI at service@oriavi.com with your name, order number if available, transaction date and amount. We can check whether a matching ORIAVI order exists.
Privacy and personal data
Payment and order information can also be personal data. For details on how ORIAVI handles personal information and cookies, please see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
