Ey Eshgh — Houshang Ebtehaj Surreal 3D Canvas

Created as meaningful Persian wall art, Ey Eshgh brings symbolic imagery and a measured contemporary composition into a modern setting. Its balanced contemporary palette gives the artwork enough presence to anchor a room while leaving space for the poetry, symbolism, and personal associations to remain central.

Poetry and Meaning

Ey Eshgh (“O Love”) carries two of the most quoted lines of Houshang Ebtehaj, the modern master of the Persian ghazal known by his pen name Sayeh. The poet gives all credit to love itself: every reason and every song come from love, while he is only the silent instrument through which it sings. The relief-textured surface makes the calligraphy feel almost sculpted.

ای عشق همه بهانه از توست
من خامشم این ترانه از توست
هوشنگ ابتهاج

English translation:
O Love, every reason begins with you;
I am silent — this song is yours. — Houshang Ebtehaj (Sayeh)

Designed for Meaningful Spaces

Ey Eshgh is well suited to an entryway, reading corner, office, bedroom, or focused feature wall. Its balanced contemporary palette works with neutral, warm, and carefully layered interiors, and its cultural focus makes it a thoughtful gift for a wedding, housewarming, Nowruz, birthday, or anyone connected to Persian art.
